In the springtime

In the springtime

A Poem by Summer Grace

In the cemetery in Sacramento
The roses bloom in the
Spring, pale pink
Tumbling over the

Tombstones in the
Sunshine in the
Cemetery, full of
Flowers the girl

Smiles, her eyes lit
Up behind her black
Sunglasses, in Sacramento
In the springtime

In the cemetery, he takes
Her photograph, finally
She's here at last in
California, in the

Springtime, dressed in
A black dress by the
White tombstones on
The May day she's

In California to stay
He's smiling, she's
Smiling, they are
Together at
Last, in California
In the springtime
