[MoMusume] Daite! Hold on me

[MoMusume] Daite! Hold on me

A Poem by Carlee
"

Poem about a girl who is breaking up with her boyfriend.

"

You’re a loveless guy, aren’t you?

There use to be this warmth about you that I adored

You would hold me close

I was special when we were together.

What’s with that cool judgement?

We're breaking up.

I'm being pushed away and at first I'm all a tizzy.

Head whirling. Scared.

My warmth is gone.

There is a coldness in my gut that matches yours.

I’ll calculate the worth of this love from there it’ll probably be goodbye.
I suppose I should be grateful now.

I know what my love is worth--and it's more than you.

I deserve warmth--I deserve affection.

Here is to you, loveless guy.

I'm leavin'.

Before you can stick another knife in my mind...

Because you and I just don't add up

Author's Note

Carlee
I wanted to write some poems with a three lines from my favorite Morning Musume songs, with the theme of that song, but my own words. A bit of a challenge to myself to write something based off a song but still be original about it. Italics are original lyrics, I decided to put the english this time but i might put both the romanji and english next time.

Re-reading it now, it seems like a mash of styles. I'll decide later if that's good or not. Original song: http://www.kiwi-musume.com/lyrics/Momusu/Second%20Morning/daiteholdonme.html
