Dear London,

Dear London,

A Poem by sun dance kid

Darkness spreads accross the sky
Like a flock of crows before the storm
I stare out at the city
From you attic window, torn
Between getting myself out
Or jumping further in.

Lately I have forgotten how the world tastes
Without a mouthful of cigarette smoke and exhaust.
I long for a sunrise
An empty ocean, anything pure
To keep me from disappearing
Into the madness of this town.
