Tear Down

Tear Down

A Poem by Grace Lea
"

Giving some sins over to God

"

tear down these walls
tear down this cloud
in front of my eyes
i'm wearing my disguise

i can't hide forever
i must think i'm clever
to leave You behind
but You've always been beside

how long did I think
You would remain silent
the cocoon i made kept me
from flying to the free

When all I had lost
had a dangerous cost
did I think You could
not pay this price

Your blood completes
and i bow in defeat
i am knee deep in the
sacrifice for myself

i walk for You
because what I am is
what you have made me to be
My flaws become my beauty

About
I'm just an 19 year old girl who loves her family and friends like anyone else. I love to laugh, but more than that I love to make other people laugh. Being outside under the sky is what inspires me.. more..
