The character in the poem is trying to say that the girl went to sleep to wake up later and forget what she dreamt about. That she will rather sleep than to stay awake and live her dreams.

Good analysis. One lined poems can be very complicated. The best part about them is the reader fills in the blanks... Aka, the story. Good story. :)

I loved this I just really loved this. It was just so simple but when I read it I felt like there was so much more to it than the simple line. It's just great.
