Judgement Call

Judgement Call

A Poem by Justin D
"

Decisions made shape the future

"

Not a strange combination,
like a sister and brother.
A gun in one hand,
and a knife in the other.
One for punishment,
the other, regret.
The use of them both,
is the devils bet.
We make his decision,
to live deep in sin.
Keeping thoughts to our self,
judgments made in pen.
A split second thought,
is all it can take.
Pull the trigger or not,
decisions we make.
The gun, made for others,
the knife, for myself.
Tonight’s smart decision,
put away on the shelf.
