Where are we going?

Where are we going?

A Poem by Justin D
"

society today has major flaws..

"

One by one,
the buildings fall.
No matter the size,
how short, how tall.

Rubble around,
the city's ablaze.
This is the quake,
of humanities maze.

Faster cars,
computers that talk.
Artificial intelligence,
toys that can walk.

We progress, we build,
we work on our tech.
Without consideration,
to what we could wreck.

We don't even realize,
there's nothing to say,
against one nuclear weapon,
to blow us all away.

Time for the moral,
we should watch what we make.
The stronger we get,
the more lives we take.

Very true. It seems scientists gather knowledge faster then society gathers wisdom.
