To Rest, To Rise, To Reign

To Rest, To Rise, To Reign

A Poem by Siren

I’ve got love on my arm and hope in my heart.

I’m holding together by falling apart.

I’m resting on mercy and living in grace

As I draw on their strength to finish this race

Exhausted and spent, but with my head held high"

Fully content with no more reasons to cry.

Forever our fears have all been put to flight,

And now we dwell and rest in His Holy Light!

We will be changed after we sleep a short time,

Awakened by Love reaching beyond Death’s grime.

Let us not be moved"we labor not in vain!

Soon we will be free of all horror and pain!

And as we stand on glory’s far distant shore

We’ll reign with God, Our Father, forevermore!
