HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR

A Poem by sushi

The year of 365 days ends...

I drop my tears, bad luck and those bitter moments
into my glass (along with the ice cubes)
The ice and my years experience floats
beautifully on the glass of Black Magic;
I drink them all and feel light...

The glass never stays empty,
as my Friends keep filling (and I get busy drinking)
I dissolved my 2011 in cocktails
and drank them all without any trace;
Now I think I am ready for yet another year...

WELCOME 2012 (into my life)...

What a wonderful way to give the image of leaving all the bad things behind and moving on to something new. You gave all your 'bad luck and those bitter moments' of 2011 away in a classy, and beautiful way and your action of drinking it shows how you have finally drowned the things which brought you down. A good way to start a new year, and I hope your cocktail of 2012 will be filled with better ingredients. An intelligent write. Well done.
