Sweet Spring Days

Sweet Spring Days

A by Susie Buckmiller
"

I was inspired to write this while out side working on a tan and watching some kids play outside.

"

Its one of those sweet spring days.

The sky is a pale blue with the sun warming

everything it touches.

Birds are singing and children are playing

as I sit here writing this.

Its one of those sweet spring days

that brings everyone outside.

And makes everyone feel happy.

It could almost be a summer day.

Flowers are trying to  bloom on one

of those sweet spring days that chases

away the gloom of winter.

I liked this piece a lot, although I feel like some of the lines are cluttered. I would go beck through it and take out unnecessary words.
For example, you have: "Birds are singing and children are playing"
I'd make it "birds are singing and children playing"
Makes the poem flow a bit easier in my opinion
