It's Not Bad Being A Crow

A short poem/story about 2 crows.

“It's not bad being a crow.”

        Two crows named Ed and Jeb sat side by side on a telephone line.


        “It's not bad being a crow.”, the first one said to the second.

        “I've been wondering what it must be like to be a dog.”, replied the second.

        “Most of them get fed all the time.”, squawked ED

        “That works out good for me, I'll take a piece here and there.”, cackled Jeb

        “Yea... Yea... dog food aint bad if thats all you can get.”, said Ed

        “I usually do better, but what can I say, it is what it is.”

        “I'm still thinking about this whole dog thing.”, Ed murrmurred to Jeb.

        “Yea... me too.", replied the second.

        “There is that one thing that they always do.”, squawked Ed

        “Good God yes! Can you imagine?”, cackled Jeb

        “Oh, I can imagine, and I don't want any part of it.”, said Ed

        “Ball licking is bad business.”



        “It's not bad being a crow.”, the first one said to the second.
