Death

Death

A Poem by Sarah Wlochal

Death
May seem if the end
Death
Is a new beginning
God
Our Savior
Devil
Our enemy
Grief
A normal process
Cry
Weep
Moan
Tears stream your face
Your beloved
Travels home
Watching
As you die
Goodbye my friend
Missing you
Til’ the end
I lost
My hero
To cancer
Just laying
Suffering
Through the end
Now
You’re in your grave
My happiness
Ended
Depressed
But not alone
Crying
These tears
Missing the years
Of the days
When we had smiles
On our face.
