Infinitely

Infinitely

A Poem by Rachelle

Infinitely
A simple "hello" from which our journey commenced
Never a regret from that moment hence.
Who is this, gifted to me by God's most loving grace?
Lifting me from the shadows as our hearts interlace.

Someone I know and yet would never meet
Life trails so parallel on never-intersecting streets.

No description exists.  Words fail to say
Whatever we have shall never fade away.

Never together.  Always apart.
Love grows and strengthens in each other's hearts.

Destiny divides.  We yearn across the seas
Each other's pillar forever we are meant to be.

Beyond lovers, brother and sister, too.
Strange kinship binds two into a singular unit through.

Completion - no other word can explain
Sheltering each other as Life sends its pain.

For whatever it's worth, I say these words to you
I will always be beside you as God wants me to.

God-given.  God-sent.  This gift I embrace.
No road too difficult.  All I will face.

The strength from Him given because of you I grow
No obstacle too impossible for me to overthrow.

Dusty and weary, upon the dirt roads I roam
A singular thought of you - I soon find my way home.

How pure is the heart of someone who loves unconditionally. I commend someone like this...or like me? LOL. We are sisters, sweet Rachelle!
May God always bless you throughout your journey because you have always that best (not only good) intention for other people.

Salamat, sis! May God always bless you, too!
"God-given. God-sent. This gift I embrace.
No road too difficult. All I will face."
I like the tone and reason for the poem. Most of must struggle to know what is good and needed. I like the above lines. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank you, Coyote Poetry, for your kind words!
This poem inspires me to write the following tiny poem which you may keep as your own:

Kismet

When Kismet brings us satisfaction, then we call her God.
This is how we tend to think of Kismet's graceful nod.
First there's one, and then there's two peas within a pod
growing from our universe's enigmatic sod.

i have someone like this...we feel we might meet in another life...because in this one we are running parallel to each other but due to circumstances that have been a constant over 30 years...we never seem to end up on the same plane...our thoughts are there...and we embrace that, and each other..within our minds.

beautiful song.
This can mean so much. I think you sell yourself short as a mere "technical writer" -- you are growing, learning, and this is an example of your journey.

Thank you! Have not been writing for quite a while...
The strength from Him given because of you I grow
No obstacle too impossible for me to overthrow.

Dusty and weary, upon the dirt roads I roam
A singular thought of you - I soon find my way home.

The whole journey of read was mesmerizing however, above last lines you nailed it my friend...100/100

Thank you, A. Amos! Appreciate your kind words.
I feel the separation even temporarily between lovers or husband and wife by water and air or if I take it another way a mother anticipating a soon to be born baby and that they are God given gift to love and cherish. A wonderful poem whichever one it is ...:)....
