sonnet xA Poem by Alanthey capitulate; body in your hands to trap untie and release, unravel you will be in control making demands you will make them into something fragile. they’ll come apart because you want them to and that is all. they’ll cry if you want them to; shudder like you’ve run them through and through immolate themselves in ways you’ve barely dreamt. they will lie still overflowing because you asked because you wanted because you looked at them just so; they saw you and they knew please let me climb inside you, fingers crooked if you were to give yourself to me, you would see exactly how much i need you. © 2020 Alan |
