Spur of brief Joy

Some relationships are not meant to be fulfilled but remains to be explored and experienced throught your life. Sky and earth cannot meet but they do share special relationship.

Life entered my body on the day I met her with joy,

She was like a ray of sun and I was just a simple boy.

I felt all the world cheering for me and nature talking with me,

Trees were my friends and breeze was like a messenger to me.

She leaned on my shoulder like a sunflower towards sun,

Life was bliss and I was not afraid of rose or gun.

Time was always on hold and days never ended,

When with her, all regulations and rules were mended.

Today is altogether a different time and place,

Hundreds of anti-dots but my heart has no solace.

Against the ray of sun I feel like a white cloud of rain,

I can’t hold the ray of sun and all efforts to approach went in vain.

All the time in front of eyes and cloud cries with rain,

While all the love is on the sky, planet earth has all the gain.

Some days bring smile when I dream of past,

Some days are sorrowful with a void that is vast.
