The Righteous sin

The Righteous sin

A Poem by tanmay7551
"

The grief of a person who lost his friend (Army Martyr) and has been orphaned.

"

Our pranks together shot to fame,

Synchronized minds, no blame-game.

Spontaneous plans, schemes of laughter

Against all odds, you were always a true fighter.

Boat of our friendship participated in several expeditions

We sailed with courage handling all frictions.

Difference between day and night diminished,

I wish the journey would have never finished.

Godspeed my friend, captain you were.

Crew like me safeguarded without fare.

Breezing through journey of life and fenced,

Your righteous sin, we were ship-wrecked.

Leaving me behind in the storm so high

You abandoned our boat, I can only sigh.

Done with a cause, I never refused

Self-existence is a formality, so confused!

My cursing has no time and place,

Martyrs always have a divine face.

Banished to hell without kith and kin,

Righteous sin, Your righteous sin!

Many kinds of life to be lived.
"My cursing has no time and place,
Martyrs always have a divine face.
Banished to hell without kith and kin,
Righteous sin, Your righteous sin!"
The above lines hard and true. A Martyrs shall die. We pray for a worthwhile cause. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

A powerful and well written poem. I enjoyed the read! ~Sharon (P.S. In line 8 I might change the word should to would.) I wish the journey would have never finished.

You were kind to accept my suggestion! Thank you.
This is a great write and heart wrenching. The oxymoronic title gets a great meaning with the poem. The emotion involved in friendship as well as for a person who martyred for the country are both strong and well presented. Good job.
