Reborn

A Story by tanner brumbach
"

Just a short story that I made when looking at the sky.

"
I sit staring into the dark gray sky as clouds drift by like smoke from the fire I used to burn my past down. I let the wind whisper sweet sounds of quiet peaceful victory into my ear. Taking a moment to realize that I have died to be born a person who finally learned to love himself along with the people who were always there. The time slows down just enough to feel every drop of rain dance on my head and slip gently off my hair. I need to feel now more than ever, I let the tears leave my eyes as they join the raindrops in its descent down my face. I feel pure and ready to step back into reality.
