A Soul Scorned

A Soul Scorned

A Poem by Tarry Franck

My soul aches
For something I've already known
My soul yearns for something
Not yet shown
The torment i feel, I can't go on,
My flesh is falling to pieces
I bow to my knees
As teardrops flow through my hands
Do I dare await
What might be around the corner
Another love filled with heartache,
I think not...So
Open this flesh ever so gently
Let it bleed oh so gracefully
Release my soul freely
So my soul will never, never be
Scorned ever again so, so greatly.

"Open this flesh ever so gently

We must bleed to know peace. I like the story in the poem and the strong ending to the poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.
