Burning

Burning

A Poem by Tarry Franck

My heart is heavy
My soul is churning
Don't know what's up
Or what's down
All I know is my flesh is burning,
The flames are high
And very hot
How to stop it
I know not,
I feel the devil has doused me
And I'm drowning
So fast and deeply,
Nothing can be done to be saved
Somebody please dig
My six foot grave.
