Through Tears

Through Tears

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Angels in Heaven
Are looking over you
That, we do know
And we are helping you Mom
The best we can
And though Dad is no longer here
Together we all stand,
We're just a call or a hand away
If you need to talk
Or if it's just to cry
Please don't ever hesitate,
We will be your light
In the darkness
No need to run
No need hide,
You have been there
For us, for many years
The least we can do
Is to be there with you
Through all the tears.

i felt and expressed myself much the same way as this when my father passed away in 2006, my mother was like a rock, but i could see her pain. she passed away just 14 months later almost to the very day as my father, seemingly from a broken heart. it is nice to know that your mother will receiveall the love and support you can give her in this very trying time. be there for her regardless of what she tells you because women have a lot of hidden pride. great write

A sad and beautiful poem. Your words are true. We must support our parent. They assisted us and we need to return the love and comfort. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Your father died on my birthday, Tarry, and I can only respect your preservation of his memory in this form. I hope your mother reads this and senses your grief and dedication to her as easily as I have. A very nice work.
