The autumn leaves

Are among us

The cold weather in the air

Cozy blankets wrapped around

With fire blazing

As snow glistens the ground,

The deer are seen

As they cross the fields

Such beauty do they 

Oh so yield,

The great of winter

Upon us

And love is in the air

A great love of mine

I love to share.

We have been lucky lately. No snow in Michigan. Autumn isn't so hard as the old days. A beautiful poem. I like the cooler days of Autumn. Cold days bring people closer if we are lucky. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Taken me a year to review this - Sorry Tarry. :)
Its relevant to now of course since Winter has come around again and its a poem version of a beautiful picture that one expects to see on Christmas carda (which I love). I was just wondering if instead of
"Such beauty do they
Oh so yield..." perhaps a word between Such and beauty would dispense with "oh so yield" which I stumbled at... maybe 'ice-kissed'.
"Such ice-kissed beauty they do yield".
Just a thought dear friend. :)
