Right Words

Right Words

A Poem by Sunflower

Alone I sit trying to find the right words
Maybe the right actions
Something to just get me through
I need something different
This isn't working
Not for me.

I cry all my tears now
While I gain a few feelings
I let them roll down my face
It's been a decade since I could cry
It's harder to go on it seems like
What if I was gone...

The thoughts control me
Or at least it seems
I'm dying
And the killer is me
It rips at my soul
And destroyed my last ounce of hope...
