Finally Lost Her Fight.

Finally Lost Her Fight.

A Poem by Sunflower

the countless fake smiles
that she has to make
hoping that maybe
it will all go away
she can't see the beauty
she can only see pain
running out of time
and the devil getting his way
he takes her life in his hands
hoping that she will fall again
she runs out on everyone
leaving them all guessing
she is in the bathroom stall
slicing, tearing, ripping at her skin
hoping to rip the devil out from within
he takes her heart and watches her bleed
she knows that deep down
this is where she should be
she takes the razor to her neck
barely touches and takes a breath
she can't take this anymore
and it doesn't matter now
no one will care if she leaves now
no one ran to her
they all just wanted a show
after all the names they call her
she finally gave up hope
she presses down in one gorging swipe
and that's how the lonely girl
finally lost her fight.

I hope this never happens to you Taya.....I really hope it doesn't...don't let him or them win...I know it's not as simple as that but...I'm really proud of you for making it this far with all of the s**t you've gone through. I really truly am.
