Biden and Palin

Wrote this while watching the Vice Presidential debate.

Sitting here beneath the dimmed desk light

Two government figures are before me

My eyes lost deep within the television screen

Palin's wearing too much makeup

It looks like she's bleeding

Ha, she has hair caught in her eye

Beside her is Biden

His stance is powerful, his voice assuring

His hair is slicked back, no makeup on his face

He's not hiding anything

Heck, Biden is for women's rights

Palin, a woman herself, is not

You know what, I think she has a twitch

Look at the way her chin moves while she speaks

"I betcha', darn right"

I think our vice president should at least be literate

Don't you?
