to those i met in 2011 on writerscafe

it seemed like time

to just give up

i had nothing

never felt it

but someone told me

that writerscafe

was like a family

i gave it a try

not knowing what was real

i met people

not just men and woman

but people who cared

who listened to what i had to say

they dreamed like i did

they seen what i had

they gave me something

that i wouldnt have anywhere else

that just make it feel like a family

i never would have guessed

id never have tried so hard

if it wasnt for my

writerscafe family

and listen to your heart

you will see

this is for all my friends not just the ones i have in the poem but to everyone who is part of my life. i hope to do a poem about everyone that is on my list because you all mean so much to me. ill never forget any of you never ever you will be in my heart for the rest of my life.
