Have you ever woken up

felt like you wanted to go back

to the place you were

in the dark or bright

 

 

one place that you can really live

truely express yourself

not afraid to show who you really are

not caring that there is only you there

 

 

people play different roles

than they do in real life

nicer or meaner than they really are

being who you want them to be

 

 

dreams are great and no one

can take away what you dream

change what you give and take

do anything to change what you want

 

 

have you ever felt this way

where the only way you can go

is back to bed

people understand me there

 

 

not just people

but everyone does

no matter who

no matter what

 

 

everyone does

and not a single word

can ruin this world

 

who cares if my world

 

has a pink sky and

purple grass

it is mine and no one elses
