Everything New

something i wrote in my science class!

when I wake up

I look around

to see what is

new or what's standing still

 

then I hear everything

from death's to new lives

taken and given each day

I see it all everyday

 

when I see you

in the sunlight

I look to see

if something changes

 

I ask the questions

You sit and listen

anything in the world

and then its answered by You

 

the deaths and births

the new and the old

how does the world go 'round

with people coming and going

 

when it's in the evening

everyone crowding around the table

saying Grace and then eating

changing what You say each day

 

how are We going to get through

how do We manage to get through

into the twilight zone

finding new, finding old

 

I go get ready for bed

clean myself up and

what do I see

You're sitting there waiting for me

 

We talk of everything

We see each day

from tons of nothing

to deep dark wishes

 

I lay to sleep

put my head down

with peace on my mind

I say good night

 

the next thing I see

is a perfect world

surrounded by peace

and not by war

 

theres flowers all around me

theres nothing but love

peace and all of everything

nothing disturbing me ever

 

when I ask You where I am

You simply tell me I cannot tell

and when I ask why

You only say because

 

when I finally wake up

I can tell where I had been

in my dream far away

a whole day goes by

 

when I get ready for dinner

I pray to You

right before I go to bed

I pray for You and me

 

it's amazing what can happen

when you can believe in God

I talk to my God everyday

and I take and give to my God

 

so God if you can hear me,

I pray for everyone who I knew

who passed and are now in Your care

teach us to remember them but still live

i have not seen twilight, if that has anything to do with this... and i also have a very strong sense of belief in God...
