Sounding Board (O Lord)

Sounding Board (O Lord)

A Poem by Richard Williams
"

Secular supplication

"

Hard cider, blue art in Aden,

fall of Vietnam;
thyme keeping calm,
shy willows dawn,
inert aspens listing often.
Gratis mist plays for graying braids,
and inform us at death as wee forage hors d’oeuvres.
when teething gnaws into evasion,
bawdy leather angst forms ill;
wolfram or a keystone, panda patter,
atom starry, pear-nectar and cheddar, armoire.
