Love Is A Sin

Is Love a sin?
Perhaps it is,
Love is so powerful that it can encompass all seven of the deadly sins in some cases,
Love strokes our world on a daily basis
with one thought or another.

But, isn't Love supposed to be originally divine?
Maybe that's why it's hard for some of us to find. 
Maybe some of us are devils and we don't know it. 
So we search in vain,
Only experiencing deep pain
for something of which we weren't made. 
And we wonder why our affections fade. 
If Love was a sin,
I suppose no one would go without it. 
But only some can fill that huge pit.

Prompt for day 23: Is Love A Sin? I had a hard time figuring out what to write for this piece. This just spilled out after attempt number two or three. I've been slacking on my writing lately. A lot on my mind.

You can love the wrong things in life, and it can be a sin. All humans are evil inwardly and outwardly. You will realize it the more you are around them...makes loving them nearly impossible...

I definitely understand that love can be done wrong and that humans are evil in many a way. I don't generally like humans simply because so many project that evil they contain onto their surroundings, especially Earth and all of its wondrous nature. There's not much I can do about any of that. But, there are humans that I find ways to love as it's only hurtful to oneself to consistently hate.
