Bowed.

Bowed.

A Poem by Mariam

Hey, poor devil, who is lonely and proud

You dare think God revengefully vowed

To excise rancid lungs and oily tongues?

Felon sinner, get your broad back bowed.

Love the association of the "poor devil" with "God", made for a nice word play! The rythym is so tight and precise, a very controlled piece of writing, most impressive! Thank you for sharing!
