Elemental

Elemental

A Poem by Tess

Like the wind she's uncatchable
but somehow he caught her and stole her heart.

Like fire she'll burn you; but she stays cold as ice
pretending his lack of caring dosent hurt her

Like water and air, she needs him in order to live.
but to him she's invisible

He never realized that her life revolved around him.
Now they aren't near each other and her world is tumbling down.

Her love destroys her
His not knowing destroys her

He is her god, though he dosen't realize it.
He is her soul, heart, and mind

If he told her to leave and never return
she'd be heartbroken

If he told her to love him
she'd jump at the chance and never let him go.

He's her Earth, her Fire, her Water, her Air.
She's a small part of his past.

To her , he's Elemental
To him, she's Mental.

Took a huge intake of breath once I read this. And then all the emotions started riling up within me like this real unstoppable storm.

To be honest, this is really well written poem.
Elsewhere, it actually hit me on the spot.
Little did I know that you missed me so much.
Lest you actually punch me in the face for saying that becase you probably will.

Maybe dear, you should t-e-x-t.
Explosions are just rippling through my head.
