The everlasting danceA Poem by Tess1,2,3 . 1,2,3 "Dance with me," said Death to Life "I'm not sure if I should," said Life to Death "Oh, please do it will be a thrilling ride," Death replied. "Very well," Life said taking his hand. Death stepped on her toes, as Life wrinkled her nose in pain. "Please be careful " Life said "For I am very fragile."
Little did they know they started a dance that would never end.
"Dear girl, I'm very sorry. I'll try not to let it happen again," Death said to Life.
"You two look very good together, you seem to balance one another." "Thank you" the duo replied. As the photographer left Life stumbled and stepped on Death's foot with the back of her heel. "Oh dear, are you alright?"
Little did they know their dance would never end. You and I have wished it would but it never will , it can't. As the two trip over one another; someone is born when death is hurt, and someone dies when life is harmed
The one armed with looks, the other with wits, neither one of them ever quits. They can't. © 2014 TessFeatured Review
