I love you, I love you, I love you were the words quoted by one Derrick Moore to his significant other, Adeline Moore, his wife and eternal soul mate; as they both professed to the world and anyone else who would listen, how their marriage was forged in iron and certified in heaven.

They were so compatible with one another in comparison, all the way down to their likes and dislikes, even their blood types were a perfect match.

And should one of them require a needed blood transfusion for any reason, they wouldn't have far to search for a possible donors match, he’d just Look to his left, and she to her right, where they were always know to be in close proximity to one another, and this is where they would find there needed life’s elixir that flowed through both their veins, and it was this conclusion about their compatibility that brought this loving couple to a final decision as to how their much-needed operations would go.

Theirs was a near-fatal tragic horrific car accident that at that time held both their lives in the balance --- for it happened one stormy night as they were returning from a joyous evening of ballroom dancing; a passion in which these two had come to love and enjoyed because of the closeness of holding one another in each other’s arms; as they took pride in displaying to others just how easily two could move about as freely as one, while showing off their graceful footwork and poised movements with every glided step, twist and turn that they performed while on the dance floor.

Unfortunately it was a deer; another one of nature’s graceful creatures that displayed its pirouette-like qualities with every movement of its beauty of form as its hoofs extended out like a butterfly in flight as it seemed to float in mid-air while it darted across a congested freeway in the front of his grille that Derrick swerved to avoid hitting, which caused him to careen his own vehicle into the oncoming path of a semi tractor trailer.

It was now Derrick and Adeline Moore’s fate that hung in the balance with no chance of survival for either of them without the transplanted organs that the both of them desperately required, but because of their mutual compatibly, and the shortage of donated compatible organs parts, only one of them could survive using the others organs. Where it now came down to a choice of who should live and who should die.

Although neither one of them cared to go on living without the other, as it was a critical decision to be made, and time was of the essence if either or were to survive.

Whereas both their fates now rested in their own hands and it was their final decision that shocked the medical world as to who would end-up with this much-needed operation, where it would be the first time, in which a surgical procedure such as this had never been performed before; let alone even thought about.

The whole world would soon hear about this sewed-up and locked down binding love that caused them to come-up with their final decision.

Adeline had lost all feeling on her right side, and even though Derrick held her hand, she still couldn’t feel his touch as he squeezed her fingers within his own grasp, which disturbed her greatly, but she never once let-on to him that she couldn't physically feel his touch, it was only through her mental senses that she knew he was holding on to her outstretched hand, and this is what gave her comfort. The doctors had informed her that more than likely, she would lose her right arm along with a right collapsed lung, and a punctured liver. She also sustained three fractures and six broken bones, two in her leg and four to her ribs. It was as they lay side-by-side in the same hospital room with their beds pushed side-by-side that they knew, that one of them wasn't going to come out of this alive, and it was these final moments that they would savored together.

Derrick had already made-up in his own mind that she should go on living, and she in her mind, thought vice-versa about the conclusion of his life.

The steering wheel had cracked his breastplate, and it was a piece of metal that skewed through his heart like a jisk-ka-bob in which the doctors were unable to remove at the time because there was no replacement heart available in the allotted time required, so what he required was another heart, as well as a lung, six feet of intestines and his entire left-sided organs needed replacing.

They were barely able to see one another through their contusions and bruises to their banged-up faces, where not once did the decision that they choose ever cross the minds of the receiving doctors and surgeons that attended to them, to have their bodies and organs sewn and interwoven together in order to function as one, and although this operation was highly probable, and a morally questionable procedure, it would save the lives of both these victims, and if unsuccessful then, they both would die. It would be the first time ever that such a medical procedure of this nature would be attempted along with the first time that anyone was intentionally conjoined in order to save two lives.

After 96 hours of operating procedures, their operation was deemed a success, but it was Derrick and Adeline’s decision after their nine-month recovery program, not to be interview or put on public display like circus freaks of nature, instead they chose to live out the remainder of their lives thanking God that they still had each other and were still able to enjoy one another’s company in close proximity to one another, even closer then they had ever thought to be.

So if you should ever have reason to attend a ballroom dance class, and you happen to see someone who looks as though their dancing with themselves, yet performing with such grace and precision stepping, I advise you to take a closer look, for it may well be, that what you’re witnessing is Derrick and Adeline the world’s most inseparable lovers, that you'll ever have a chance to see.
