I Choose To Stay

Ever since the day I chose

To go steady with my man

Absolutely nothing

Has gone according to "the plan"

All my life I dreamed about

Prince Charming, romance, and passion

To say this just as nice as can be

My man... He's truly slacking

So why, I asked myself while running

Why do I choose to stay

Because life without my wonderful man

Would be cloudy, dull, and gray

You see, he always makes me laugh

Even when I don't want to smile

And always keeps me on my toes

With jokes, and pranks, that's his style

So after a few seconds of thought

And knowing how loved he makes me feel

I know I'd never want to leave 

We're right, we're one, we're real
