Infinitive Love

Infinitive Love

A Poem by The sunrising

I saw things in a different light.
You gave me a different vibe.
I imagined these different love-stories, you kept me high
Ride-or-die, no reason to ask why... you lied

You're a rolling-stone, you couldn't stay home
I gave you all of me and still you couldn't even try
I can't change a man, and damn shol can't make him show his soul
But I felt like he stole my soul, even if he did, I couldn't get it back.

But I could love him forever, maybe i'm stupid, maybe i'm foolish
You broke my heart and you knew it. Clueless.

When you're a hopeless-romantic it's easy to love, not kill.
And when you fill your head with all the good of him...
It's sad to say you've got to keep it real

You put me in another world, and I love it.
Suppose we were meant, if we weren't, then it's nothing

I get it, I figured, gotta keep my hand on the trigger
Can't get hurt, I gotta keep my love strong and realer
