Mindless Heart

Unrequited love. One of my favorite poems.

A foul enchanter put a spell on me

Grabbing my heart and ensnaring mind

But he looks right through me, nothing to see

He goes forward to the darkness and leaves me behind

I follow with my eyes and cry internally

My mind knows it’s foolish to follow

My heart tears away looking sadly behind me

My heart prefers to keep me in sorrow

I love it until the last three lines. To me they don't make a conclusion, it just stops. But they do rhyme which is great! You might want to concider revising them or adding on... Other than that a great poem filled with lots of emotion!

I really like your version of this concept too! I love how in all your poetry its short and to the point instead of being dragged out and not just getting to it. I've seen many people do that and unfortunately I'm a victim of that as well...but your works are also very deep and I have yet to see rambling from you!
