Tomorrow

Tomorrow

if 'tomorrow' arrived and you weren't here...what would you want them to do?

Tomorrow

If your tomorrow arrives without me… remember to remember my name…

Remember to remember all those times… we thought but never could say…

I love you… and just let all be still the way… the way it was…without us…

Together… when we were simply you and I … just remember my name.

If your tomorrow arrives without me … and I’m not here to see…

If the news daily appears blur because of the tears in your eyes for me…

For every drop that glistens on your face … isn’t lost alone… with it…

Lost in fragments… what’s left of me… ‘cause I’m  not here to see.

If your tomorrow arrives without me… remember to let go…

Of the hand that once held yours… and now no longer can…but no!

Don’t give in… don’t give up on love… what’s ours is special…but so…

Will be all that’s worth your attention… now off of me… you can let go.

But if your tomorrow arrived today… gave me a chance to re-live my yesterday…

Though for a little while… I’d reach out… drop in a kiss on you…

Just to see you smile… and forget about the emptiness and memories…that one day…

Shall replace me… in your heart… and thank you for being a part of my yesterday…
