Forgiven?

Forgiven?

A Poem by Bad Wolf
"

Based on Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Written from the perspective of Ender Wiggin. Completely original.

"

Will Darkness come through light?

Or will I usher it out the door of Chaos?

Who has the skeleton key?

Myself or Hades?

But what should I say

To the people whom

I have brought this Blackness

Is pain mine or theirs?

Who can I own and who can I forgive?

Am I the snake that leapt from the mirror

Or the childhood love of all?

But what should I say

To the people to whom

I have brought this Pain?

And am I Death or

Just his Messenger?

Who will forgive me

Least of all myself?

But what should I say

To the people to whom

I have brought this Death

This Blackness

This Death

This Pain

I have delivered to them

Yet will I be forgiven?

By the people to whom

I have brought Myself
