Inviting Uncertainty

Inviting Uncertainty

A Poem by The Duckie

I laid my eyes upon her,
Her hand reaching out for me.
I don't know what she wanted,
But, that warm inviting smiling,
That glimmer that reflecting off her eyes from the sunset,
It was too much to resist.
And although I never understood the heaviness of that moment,
I reached for her hand,
And then quickly withdrew as I cowered away from her.

Because I'm a duck... and that bread was delicious.

Bah, I just throw the bread. No way I'm getting nipped by a duck, let alone one that stands nearly six feet tall, gregarious smile and . . . *censored* Oh joy, that was fun! LOL

The ducks here are fearless. They'll damn near maul you for a piece of bread.
