I Cry

"I Cry"

Cursed and fallen to the ground,
My heart has no life, so I cry,
This pit of sorrow sparks a flame,
My heart's on fire, so I cry,

Eyes won't adjust to the dark,
I feel blind, so I cry,
Can't feel my legs to stand back up,
I'm paralyzed, so I cry,

I yell with hope that I am heard,
Only silence, so I cry,
I drag myself through the dirt,
Mud from tears, so I cry,

Starting to doubt my escape,
Faith is lost, so I cry,
Will I die in the rain?
I'm still alive, so I cry.

ah, the rain may be what washes away those tears
this reminds me of a dream i have once in a while
i try to cry and scream but no one hears me
and im sad
this was a lovely write
