Rain//Sunken

Rain//Sunken

A Poem by scout
"

With this piece, I'd hoped to capture a little of my feelings towards someone – a real person.

"
RAIN//SUNKEN

I lived in a tropical kingdom, and you;
in the United. My winter was full of rain
and yours was full of me, but
now it's congealed so that
you were the rain,
the highlight of my season,
and I only wished
to
be
yours

I hear you speak of her " beautiful,
clever, yours;
I pretend to not care, but
inside,
it is the distance between
one and eternity;
and
it
hurt

If I were a poet, I would write it down;
If I were a painter, I'd have painted it out "

But I am only a little anchor;
heavy with sadness
So
sank.

What are you opinions on spacing between words? Do you count it as a legitimate kind of skill, or is it just a fancy add-on?
