Starsong

Starsong

A Poem by J. Land

Chill passes through the earth
In that moment where the sun
Escapes behind the horizon,
A thrill of anticipation
That starlight brings
When earth's denizens
Find the oases of quiet darkness
And gaze upon the glory of the sky.

The soft trill of rustling leaves
Or grassy stems bristling in the night
Echo, in their way, the starsong,
Quietly rumbling across space and time,
Speaking a sublime language meant
For ears attuned and listening
With hearts willing to hear
The message hidden among its static notes.

The serene tranquil dimension that surrounds this writing is so addictive J. Althoug for some unknow reason it made me wonder about stars and wishes and dreams yet as I read it a few times it shares with me the ability to represent the movements from below with the counterparts from above. The gentle swaying of the trees and as you observe and it makes you move your head from side to side as it makes you wonder.

Who is moving what? I better tune my ears then

Thankyou
