No guilt.

No guilt.

A Poem by Maija Darling

You are the faint smell
of liquor
of smoke
of cologne
And you are the bundle of blankets
and cars passing
and city lights through the downtown window.
And that will be forever burned into my brain.

I like the format and the theme keep it up.

I love these lines. Gosh, I just sense loss. Loss of someone whose presence now resides in little reminders. The way the blankets are crumpled, memories of late night drives in the city. A smell, a taste. Beautiful depiction of loss and what remains.

Beautiful.
