Self Fulfilling Prophecy

Self Fulfilling Prophecy

A Poem by Maija Darling

There's that slow panic
that slowly sets in when you can feel yourself
slipping into your old habits and ways
And there's nothing you can do about it
even if you wanted to
because alcohol and razor blades
don't leave like people do.
