Goodbye's

Goodbye's

A Poem by TheMadRabbit

I listened to your vinegar words,
As they told me how to miss you--
Pleased to learn
When you break something
It grows back stronger

I may be damaged
But I am not broken
And I never have been
I will not give you that

If I could ask one question though,
It would have to be--
Do you remember when you decided
I wasn't worth
Your precious time?

I've experienced the feelings expressed here before. Well documented :) I.I.

"When you break something

A strong poem of recognition and awakening in the aftermath. Keep on...:).................
