Finally
after all that extra school and siting in that bed I was able to get up and
leave the hospital of course everyone
was there to help me except Satan who had his own duties I remember moving my
legs to the other side of the bed then putting all of my strength to get up.
Ruby held my arm to help me keep my balance then I got my step back I tore the
wrist bracelet to the hospital off. First thing first got to go take the lie
detector test I just wanted to get it over with. The procedure went quickly they
find the results later so we can go home it felt good to see home again luckily
for me it was the summer so I got to be me again. I was glad I could good food again and not hospital
food. Lunch was good but I was anxious to walk around the town. Me and ruby met
up with Jacob and Gloria to walk around the town. So Jacob asked does it feel
good to be able to walk again? Before I could answer I got a sharp pain in my
head and my eyes were going in and out of blue and red coloring the hospitals
couldn’t do anything but my dad’s workplace could I was rushed their and put on
a table I thrashed so violently I broke one of the restraints but in my mind I
was being told give her up. It was saying it over and I was being shown a
apocalyptic earth. The voice kept repeating give her up. Finally I shouted why!
At that point the voice stopped and I saw a throne room full of skeletons and
sitting on a throne was ruby with curled devil horns. No I shouted no no no no!
I don’t believe you she would never do this. Oh but she would you see once you
die she will lose all control your death is inevitable unless you give her up.
I won’t I shouted I will never and at that moment my eyes stayed red and a ray of light shot out of me. I woke up
out of my apparent vision not felling normal ruby gave me a hug as I sat up.
Thank goodness mason I was worried for a moment she stopped oh no. What I asked concerned? Your eye their red like not eye color they are
fully red I looked in the glass to see my eyes full red no white no black just
red. A boom rang out and the door blew open knocking the two security guards
out a man with angel wings walked in humans he said you have no concern here
you can leave we only want the unholy one. He walked towards ruby but he met me
in his way. First off who are you and
why do you want ruby. He went to push me aside but he couldn’t move me. So
you’re the one who chose hell over heaven evil over good. All I know is that
your trying to take my friend last time I couldn’t do anything but this time I
can. I struck the man knocking him back
I couldn’t believe my strength. He shook it off like it was nothing he lunged
at me trying to choke me out. Then the man shrieked as he fell down I looked to
see a burnt mark on his back ruby threw a fireball at him. Then more came in
but by then the place was aware and dad hit the alarm security came and the
angels scattered and left I ran out of
energy I was drained and soon, heaven and
hell were at war and I was in the middle of it. My dad knew Satan had the answer so he got
him to come look. Satan already knew what happened to me. In this war he said
humans have to pick sides at least some do. you defiantly had to seeing the
relationship with ruby. Well he added I see you picked my side no doubt because
of ruby. Now you have the strength of a demon now you can harness dark energy
and use it to protect or harm who you wish. After all of that I had to put
sunglasses on as long as my eyes are red they stay on. I thought it would be okay but I was dead wrong. I was walking with ruby to clear my head but
then my head ached my mind was going insane ruby tried to get me up but I
couldn’t stand soon thoughts flooded in my head good and bad but one name kept
popping up Jesus. And my felling came true soon I was tackled by an unseen
force and I was being held down by 4 angels one on each of my limbs. Mason ruby
shouted but a ball of light hit her knocking her down. My rage set in as my eyes
glowed a red flame I got an arm loose and grabbed the angel and threw them a
good distance and did the same to all 4 of them. Then the light was hitting me
it hurt a lot. So a voice said you’re the one who pick evil over good. I
guessing your Jesus I asked I thought you didn’t like to fight? I fight only
against Unholy creatures like the one you’re so intent on protecting. My rage
got me closer but only a little bit before he made it hurt more. Do you think she is really helpless she is
more powerful then you she is playing you for a fool she doesn’t love you she
doesn’t even like you as a friend! it seems to be the only language people
understand these days. People your age think they know what love is I don’t
care if you’re 18 or not you’re still too young for this so ill spare you but
she coming with me. You’re wrong I said I didn’t pick evil I did what you
taught so long ago you told us to fight for what you believe in. this isn’t one
of those times he answered back. If Satan wins the world will end. And what if
heaven wins I asked? The world won’t end there will still be peace. I stood up
or you could be wrong and you would destroy the balance and the world would end.
one of my eyes went back to normal. Then I felt a surge of energy I screamed as
a mix of light and fire surrounded me. When it cleared I had wings but one was
a demons and the other one was an angels. Any my right eye was blue instead of
red. You Jesus said you reached neutrality a state in which you aren’t good or
evil but you understand the balance this hasn’t happened in thousands of years.
As that happened it attracted both sides heaven and hell all looking at me and
soon Satan and god steeped forward.
First to spoke was Satan god I didn’t expect you to be down here. Well
god said when a man of neutrality comes it is our job to listen to his wisdom
in keeping us from war you know better than anyone that I didn’t want this. At
that point I walked to ruby and she looked at me with a smile she was in a lot
of pain I could see that I picked her up
gently and flew to my dad’s workplace I sat her down at the table I focused all
of my energy into her healing her as I was done I fainted. I woke in a bed in a
bunk house security uses. I got up and walked into the hallway I gripped my
chest it hurt I got into the conference room to hear yelling god and Satan
arguing about safety and if I was a risk because of ruby. Ruby standing there
saw me in the corner of her eye and walked out I was against the wall not
knowing what to do she was sitting beside me in her devil princess outfit. I’m sorry mason about all of this I want you
to know if you think you shouldn’t have me around for the safety of others I
understand fully. Hold on I said I
didn’t hear it all but you know better than anyone I will never leave your side
as I gave her a hug. She sobbed a little holding me tightly I wish I could have
been normal she said then you wouldn’t have to do this for me I am so sorry. I
wiped the tears from her eyes and spoke well the definition of normal is a
fickle thing. But I might have neutrality but with you there is never any question
I will always be here for you. Are you ready ruby I asked? She nodded and we
went in the room hand in hand. They didn’t notice until I put my hand on the
table. I let go of hers and put my other one on the table so they didn’t notice
what was going on yet. Ah see Satan god said he will have more reason can you
explain that you can’t have a relationship with the daughter of the embodiment
of evil. I looked down at my feet then at ruby your wrong god I said. What god
asked? I don’t care what you think ruby is a kind person maybe you should think
not of her heritage but what she really is. I implore you god said you could
destroy the balance by being with this devil spawn. I got mad as I said and I implore you to
watch your tongue! Watch how you talk Jesus shouted! Enough son god said he’s
right I have been rough on the poor girl.
But understand mason you could be risking the world by being with her
you could lose neutrality and possibly end the world as we know it. I looked at ruby who was willing to accept
not being able to be with me. I spoke as
I grabbed ruby’s hand and pulled her closer that is a chance I am willing to
take then I gave her a hug as she was crying tears of joy. I hope you know what
you’re doing god said. I wiped the tears from her eyes once again. Ha ha Satan
said I can’t believe it one moment he was in the hospital the next he becomes
an ancestral being. And he aint even dead what a joyous day. I’m sorry mason
ruby said I just can’t believe it I thought you would pick your big
responsibility over me. Of course I picked you I said all my life since I met
you I never thought what others thought. That you were dangerous I knew right
when I met you that all you needed was a friend but I would of never thought it
would come this far from my power to our relationship ruby. I grabbed ruby and
took flight flying through the halls out the hangar and into the air where the
sun was rising. Being a neutral being or
not they can’t stop me from being with you ruby even if the world would end
right now at least I would have been with you. I feel the same mason she said
blushing. I descended down to the ground and we sat down on the hill watching
the sun rise. Seems like yesterday I was helpless in that bed as that
investigator questioned me if only he could see me now. I think god is mad at
you ruby said. Why do you say that I asked? Well because you put the world at
stake and made a fool of him. Well I said god is a humble man from what I
heard. The wings though are going to take a while to get used to. You seemed
fine flying me around ruby said. And beside she added I like them they suit
you. Whelp I said time to head back knowing Satan and god their more than likely
fighting again. I picked ruby up and flew over to my dad’s workplace. Everyone
was waiting for us I set ruby down as my dad approached. You did well my dad
said only a medical miracle could have saved ruby if you didn’t. and you stuck
to your guns you are just like your mother.
I looked at ruby talking to her father and wondered what life had for me
next but I knew that it was up to me to keep the balance between heaven and
hell. But with ruby at my side I would always have hope
