An Endless Loop

An Endless Loop

A Poem by therisa

Silence
To hear my muse
Who's been trying to
Get my attention
But failing.

For my mind is
Somewhere else.

Seeking out
That elusive Zen spot
Between the body
And the soul.

Knowing
It exists.

But
Just out of reach
Every time
I try.

Like a four leaf clover
You could have sworn
To have seen it
At this very spot
Just a moment
Ago.

Being so close
And yet
So far away
From success.

Wanting to cry
In abject frustration
Over another failure
But knowing
Tears won't bring me
Any closer.

Once more
I try
As a soft sigh
Is release.

A lot of truth and pain in this. Feeling the futility and frustration.

I was drawn to this from the title - endless loop - in computer programming usually a fatal flaw in the programmers methodology.
No use throwing out the whole program - we just debug.
I got the frustration here so vividly Therisa

Thank you, Anto, for your kind words. For some reason, this title, just resonated, with me.

You're welcome Therisa :)
Sad but still not enough to give up hope. If at first you don't succeed....you know.

Its attributed to Einstein, but no real proof, he did, actually, say it, Ana.

Neither, was I, Ana. Then again, most people on the WC, weren't either, would be, a safe bet.
