I can think of a bit of word play here -- going for alliteration and spoonerisms. However, it works perfectly well as a direct sentence.

There is one typo: "its".

I'm more of a loin than a lion: some hand-reared grill-seared chump of meat. And, even if it were lion and mouse, then the mouse pulled the thing from the paw of the thing and, long story short, you gotta work what you got.
