I hung your photo on the wall tonight
Just below the wooden cross
And on our bed for two, I lie maroon,
Aching evermore to hold you tight.

I'd hoped that I would be the first, to cross,
Not you. My heart, this vacant room
Crowded by your memory every night,
Is hardly coping with the loss.

I pray, to follow in your absence, soon,
To where lost love may reunite
As on I languish here my mortal gloss
Beneath this silent, swoonless moon...

'Swoonless Moon' is a sad, creative write about loss and I am touched by the words. I am sorry for your loss. I hope you find peace in these difficult times of your life. Writing is a great expression of a persons heart and you do a good job of it.
