The use of the word 'oinking' was a very smart choice. Obviously a substitute for a swear, but subtly establishing empathy between the reader and the pigs by appropriating 'pig language'.

Pesky, pedantic side note: technically you're a syllable short on the last line for this to be a true haiku or senryu. Doesn't necessarily harm the poem itself though, thus 'pesky' and 'pedantic'.

i'm heading toward vegetarianism, not there yet. the wife stil loves her meat and she's the head chef!!

I'll admit, my wife turned me vegetarian, she's also head chef and she WONT cook meat. But I'll still have the occasional relapse. Sometimes I miss Lamb! But I admit I do feel healthier. Take care my friend!

lamb! how culd you there so cute and adorable hahahah!!! i eat chicken mostly, some minced meat too. i suppose fish is acceptable, is it not a form of self defence to eat, i mean if i dont eat then i will die. plants are alive too before we pluck em. take care

I'll hunt an animal if I am starving to death, of course. But I live in a city, and the big factory farming that's going on...it's creating a lot of unnecessary suffering!
